Montse Alarcón

Hi, I’m Montse Alarcón and I’m an art painter. I’ve been painting since I was a child and art is my life.

I remember that when I was a child my grandfather used to give me money and I bought paintings instead of dolls; since then I opened a door full of beauty, fantasy and love towards this art, for me it is a way of life.

I was an introverted girl and painting helped me creating an inner world full of magic and fun. I always tell my students “art is therapeutic”.

When you are creating, you enter a state of relaxation, of connection with the universe, which gives you inner peace , this is how I feel. For me it is essential, a way to capture the beauty of life.

I started studying at a very young age, going through different painting schools and learning from the best teachers.I studied drawing, figures, still lifes, natural landscapes; little by little I got trained and I still continue learning every day.

The painter is born and is made on the way , all children are born with a gift and mine is this. I shaped it until I reached this moment, where I show you my work, with all the enthusiasm in the world.

My inspiration is the thought of a memory and the feeling of what has been lived, where imagination plays the most important role. This is how this work was created; I paint my human experience, my inner feelings and the beauty that surrounds me. We are creators and when we create, our dreams come true. This is how in my maturity and with the learning of my life, I embarked on this dream that comes true day after day.
