Françoise Nielly ha explorado diferentes facetas de la imagen toda su vida, a través de la pintura, la fotografía, el dibujo, la ilustración y el diseño generado por ordenador. Es claro ahora que la pintura es su dirección y su mayor pasión.
Hereda el sentido del espacio de su padre, arquitecto. Habiendo crecido en el sur de Francia donde vivió entre Cannes y Saint-Tropez, nunca estuvo lejos de la luz, el sentido del color y la atmósfera que transmite el sur de Francia. Esto se ha acoplado con su estudios de bellas artes y artes decorativas, y su sentido del humor y de la celebración.
La pintura de Françoise Nielly es expresiva, exhibe una fuerza brutal, una fascinante energía vital. Óleo y espátula se complementan al esculpir sus imágenes en un material que es a la vez agresivo e incisivo, carnal y sensual.
Tanto en sus pinturas de figura humana como en sus retratos, la artista toma un riesgo: su pintura es sexual, sus colores libres, exuberantes, sorprendentes, explosivos incluso, el corte de su espátula es incisivo, su paleta de color deslumbrante.
